Have We Grown Cold and Loveless?

I've been thinking lately about what is the real job of God's church around the world. Many times we get bogged down in the mentality of staying in our cozy church buildings or places of worship and that's as far as our lights go. We feed ourselves at church and then go home not thinking throughout the week about all the lost people in our communities that don't know the Lord and don't go to church. The church is the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:12 -14). Are we acting like the body of Christ. The body of Christ should be reaching out to the people who have never heard about Jesus. Why does God have us here in the first place? To go into all the world and preach the gospel and make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:18-20, Mark 16:15).

Are we hiding our lights? Are we "shaking our heads" so to speak at the lost yet not trying to win them for Christ and bring them to church. Are we going to complain about the darkness or light a candle?
