God's "pillars of grace" (grace: God's unmerited love and favor ) was not free. The only way it is available to us is through our Lord Jesus Christ. You see we have all sinned ( broken God's holy law ) and therfore we are separated from God's favor. Jesus paid the price for us by dying on the cross so that we could be in God's loving favor. If we have trusted Jesus Christ as our personnal Savior from our sins*, the Lord's "pillars of grace" are available to us to support and carry us through life's journey's.
